Allison joins Saber with over 30 years of executive experience in the games industry. He has led companies as diverse as Accolade, Atari, Midway and Telltale. He has most recently served as Vice President at Epic Games, where he led the formation and launch of the Epic Games Store and Epic\u2019s third-party publishing. Allison built the store to hundreds of millions of users and thousands of games &#8211; an \u201cepic\u201d accomplishment by any standard. Allison will join Saber as a leading member of the executive team, managing publishing, marketing and other revenue opportunities. He will report directly to the CEO.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cSteve Allison has done more to shape and modernize the game industry than anyone else I know,\u201d said Matthew Karch, CEO of Saber Interactive. \u201cHe has created major companies, developed new platforms and spearheaded bestselling IP. He is not only one of the most knowledgeable and experienced individuals in games, but he is also incredibly handsome &#8211; a trait we were sorely lacking after leaving Aspyr with Embracer. Prior to Epic Games, Allison was SVP of Publishing at Telltale Games for over 8 years, and established their tailored narrative approach as a wholly new genre in gaming while overseeing the studio\u2019s growth into one of the industry\u2019s leading publishers.
